Last night, French fashion house Yves Saint Laurent hosted the coolest masquerade ball to celebrate Halloween and the launch of their new fragrance, Parisienne (You’ve probably been seeing the ads with Kate Moss everywhere!).

I got the chance to check out the party with a few friends like fashion designer Edward Fong (on the right, in the crazy black mask!) and it was so much fun! The invite said “mask and stylish attire required”, and most of the party’s guests went all out!

Yesterday I got to check out the TOMS Shoe Preview at the Soho House. TOMS is a cool brand because everytime
you buy one of their shoes, they donate a pair to a child in need. You
always hear about companies giving back “part of their proceeds”, but
in TOMS’s case, you know that when you purchase one of their cute
shoes, someone who really needs a pair is also getting one. They donate locally in the U.S. around the world in countries like Argentina, South Africa, and Ethiopia.

First
thing that caught my eye were these glittery flats, which are the
perfect addition to any holiday party dress you want to sparkle in (while
keeping it comfortable!).

Reese has a perfume! The actress and Avon spokesperson was in NYC yesterday to take over Times Square for the launch of her new fragrance, In Bloom.
The scent is floral oriental woody, with Star Gardenia, Georgia Peach
Tea Leaves (Reese is a southern girl after all!) and Night Blooming
Jasmine notes among others.

“In developing In Bloom, I found
myself drawn to the scents of my childhood in Tennessee. We had a great
big Magnolia tree in the back yard, and it’s that beautiful white
blossom that inspired the perfume,” said Reese.
